Every problem leads to progress.

It is a very old issue. A king laid a big stone in the middle on the main road.

He hid behind a tree to see if someone removed that stone. Many courtiers and traders passed by and many of them loudly condemned the king that the road system of the state was not good, but no one made any effort to remove that stone. Then a farmer passed by, with a bag of grain on his back. On reaching the stone, he put his burden on one side and started trying to remove the stone. After much hard work he became successful. The farmer was surprised to see that from the place where the stone was removed, there was a lot of gold coins in a bundle and a letter written by King Kaka. The letter stated that gold coins were a gift to the stone remover. That farmer taught him a lesson that very few of us understand. Actually, this story teaches us that 'every obstacle in our path gives us an opportunity to progress'.

      Many times it happens that we are afraid to help a person injured on the road, thinking not to get caught in an affair. But we forget that this work done for the good of others goes on adding to our deeds. The person himself may not be able to give us any benefit in return, but there is someone, who is noting every good thing from the distant sky. If not today, he will definitely take care of these things while delivering judgment on you tomorrow. It may also happen that today you help some unknown person and tomorrow an unknown person will help your dear family member in the same way.

         This story gives another lesson that toil never goes waste. Just as the labor of removing the stone was not wasted on the farmer, similarly if we continue to work, then it will definitely benefit us in some form or the other.

हर परेशानी उन्नति की ओर ले जाती है।

बात बहुत पुरानी है। एक राजा ने मुख्य मार्ग पर बीचो-बीच एक बड़ा पथर रखवा दिया।

वह एक पेड़ के पीछे छिप कर यह देखने लगा कि कोई उस पत्थर को हटाता है या नहीं। कई राजदरबारी और व्यापारी वहां से गुजरे और उनमें से कई ने ऊँचे स्वर में राजा की इस बात की निंदा की कि राज्य की सड़क व्यवस्था ठीक नहीं है, लेकिन किसी ने भी उस पत्थर को हटाने का कोई प्रयास नहीं किया। फिर वहां से एक किसान गुजरा, जिसकी पीठ पर अनाज का बोरा लदा हुआ था। पत्थर के पास पहुंचने पर उसने अपना बोझा एक ओर रखा और पत्थर हटाने का प्रयास करने लगा। बहुत परिश्रम करने के बाद वह सफल हो गया। किसान यह देखकर हैरान रह गया कि जिस जगह से पत्थर हटा, वहां एक पोटली में सोने के ढेर सारे सिक्के थे और राजा कक लिखा हुआ एक पत्र था। पत्र में लिखा था कि सोने के सिक्के पत्थर हटाने वाले के लिए उपहार स्वरूप थे। उस किसान ने इससे वह सबक सिखा जो हममें से बहुत कम ही समझ पाते हैं। दरअसल, यह कहानी हमें सिख देती है कि 'हमारे मार्ग में आने वाली हर बाधा हमें उन्नति करने का अवसर प्रदान करती है।'

      कई बार ऐसा होता है कि हम सड़क पर घायल किसी इन्शान की मदद करने से घबराते हैं, यह सोच कर कि किसी चक्कर में न फंस जाएं। लेकिन हम भूल जाते हैं कि दूसरों की भलाई के लिए किया गया यह काम हमारे कर्मों में जुड़ता चला जाता है। वह इन्शान खुद भले ही हमें बदले में कुछ फायदा न दे पाये, लेकिन कोई है, जो दूर आकाश से आपकी हर अच्छी बात नोट कर रहा है। वह आज नहीं, तो कल आपके ऊपर फैसला सुनाते वक़्त इन बातों का भी जरूर ख्याल रखेगा। यह भी हो सकता है कि आज आप किसी अनजाने की मदद करें और कल कोई अनजाना व्यक्ति आपके परिवार के प्रिय सदस्य की इसी तरह मदद करे।

         यह कहानी एक और सीख देती है कि कभी भी परिश्रम बेकार नहीं जाता। जिस तरह किसान को पत्थर के हटाने का परिश्रम बेकार नहीं गया, उसी तरह अगर हम लगातार परिश्रम करें, तो किसी न किसी रूप में हमारा फायदा जरूर होगा।
