दूसरों के कामों को कम या छोटा न समझें।

 एक दिन शरीर की इंद्रियों ने सोचा कि हम लोग मेहनत कर-करके मर जाते हैं और यह पेट हमारी कमाई मुफ्त में ही खा जाता है। अब से हम कमायेंगे, तो हम ही खायेंगे, नहीं तो काम करना बंद कर देंगे। इस सुझाव पर शरीर की सभी इंद्रियों ने हामी भर दी। पेट को इस प्रस्ताव का पता चला, तो वह बोला- मैं तुम्हारी कमाई खुद नहीं रखता हूँ। जो कुछ तुम लोग देती हो, उसे तुम्हारी शक्ति बढ़ाने के लिए वापस तुम्हारे ही पास भेज देता हूँ। यकीन रखो, तुम्हारा परिश्रम तुम्हें ही वापस मिल जाता है। यह बात इंद्रियों के समझ में नहीं आयी। प्रस्ताव के अनुसार, सभी इंद्रियों ने काम करना बंद कर दिया। पेट भूख से तड़पने लगा और दूसरे अंगों को भी ऊर्जा देने में असमर्थ हो गया। इससे सारे अंगों की शक्ति नष्ट होने लगी। तब मस्तिष्क ने इंद्रियों से कहा- मूर्खों, तुम्हारा परिश्रम कोई नहीं खा रहा। वह लौटकर तुम्हें ही वापस मिलता है। यह न सोचो कि दूसरों की सेवा से तुम्हारा नुकसान होता है, जो तुम दूसरों को देती हो, वह ब्याज समेत लौट कर आता है। इंद्रियों को सहयोग की वास्तविकता समझ में आ गयी थी।

               इस कहानी को बताने का मकसद यह था कि यह बात ऑफिस में भी लागू होती है। कई बार हमें लगता है कि ऑफिस में केवल हम ही मन लगा कर काम कर रहे हैं। हम अकेले ही इस ऑफिस को चला रहे हैं। अगर हम चले जायें या काम करना बंद कर दें, तो ऑफिस बंद हो जायेगा। हमें लगता है कि सामने वाला बैठे-बैठे हमारा क्रेडिट ले रहा है, लेकिन यह सिर्फ हमारा भ्रम होता है। दरअसल, कोई भी ऑफिस किसी एक व्यक्ति की वजह से नहीं चलता। सभी का थोड़ा - थोड़ा योगदान उसे चलाता है। यह अलग बात है कि हमें सामनेवाले का कार्य नजर नहीं आता।

                यही बात घर पर भी लागू होती है। कई बार पति-पत्नी के बीच इसी बात को लेकर झगड़ा होता है। पतियों को लगता है कि पत्नियां केवल घर पर बैठे-बैठे टीवी देखती हैं। अगर वह कह दें कि उसने दिन भर घर की सफाई की, तो वे हर तरफ नज़र दौड़ाकर कह देते हैं, ऐसी कौन सी सफाई कर दी? थोड़ा-सा सामान इधर का उधर करने में वक़्त ही कितना लगता है?

शिक्षा:-

💐 कार्य की सफलता का श्रेय किसी को भी जाये, यह संभव सामुहिक पुरुषार्थ से ही होता है। किसी के कार्य को छोटा या कमतर न समझें।

💐 हमें केवल अपने कार्य नज़र आते हैं। यदि हम दूसरों के कार्यों पर गौर करेंगे, तो पता चलेगा कि वह व्यक्ति शायद हम से भी ज़्यादा काम करता है।

Don't underestimate the work of others.

One day the senses of the body thought that we work hard and die and this stomach eats our earnings for free. From now on, if we earn, then only we will eat, otherwise we will stop working. All body senses agreed to this suggestion. When the stomach came to know of this proposal, he said - I do not keep my earnings for myself. Whatever you people give, I send it back to you to increase your power. Rest assured that your hard work gets back to you. This was not understood by the senses. According to the proposal, all the senses stopped working. The stomach started to suffer from hunger and was unable to give energy to other organs as well. Due to this the power of all the organs started getting destroyed. Then the brain said to the senses - Fools, no one is eating your hard work. He returns and gets back to you. Do not think that serving others hurts you, What you give to others comes back with interest. The senses had come to understand the reality of cooperation.

               The purpose of telling this story was that this also applies in the office. Sometimes we feel that only we are working diligently in the office. We are running this office alone. If we leave or stop working, the office will be closed. We feel that the front is taking our credit sitting, but this is just our illusion. Actually, no office is run because of any one person. Everyone's little contribution drives it. It is a different matter that we do not see the work of the front.

                The same thing applies at home as well. Many times there is a quarrel between husband and wife about this matter. Husbands think that wives only watch TV while sitting at home. If he says that he cleaned the house throughout the day, then he looks around and says, what kind of cleaning did he do? How much time does it take to move a little stuff here and there?
