I don't remember ever in my childhood staying late at school just because it was raining outside. She used to reach home getting wet and then getting wet in the rain meant massage with hot mustard oil containing celery at home and it used to happen without fail every time. If I get wet in fun, mustard oil is present along with scolding.

Then when she started staying away from home, gradually getting wet in the rains gradually stopped. Not that there were no people later in life. But it never occurred to anyone to rub hot mustard oil on the soles of a girl who got wet in the rain. Never.

Hundreds of such things, which mother always used to do, no one did after being away from mother.

No one has ever applied oil to hair. Even today, if you meet mother even for a day, then apply oil to your hair.

If food was not liked in childhood, mother would have given ten more options. Eat good ghee-jaggery roti, I make good potato bhujia. Mother used to tolerate tantrums, so used to fight with her. But later no one showed pampering like this. I myself also started eating all the vegetables.

There is only one mother in my life. No mother ever came again, although growing up I definitely became a mother. Girls become mothers automatically.

You never know when a lover, a husband becomes a small child, when caress starts showering on him more than love. Oil also gets applied in his head, he also starts worrying that I should cook his favorite food, his tantrums are also raised.

Many mothers come in the life of boys. A sister also becomes a mother, she is a wife, daughters also become the mother of an old father after a certain age, but girls have only one mother. After growing up, he does not get any mother again. Those pampering, tantrums, never come again.

मुझे याद नहीं कि बचपन में कभी सिर्फ इस वजह से स्‍कूल में देर तक रुकी रही होऊं कि बाहर बारिश हो रही है ना। भीगते हुए ही घर पहुंच जाती थी और तब बारिश में भीगने का मतलब होता था, घर पर अजवाइन वाले गर्म सरसों के तेल की मालिश और ये विदाउट फेल हर बार होता ही था। मौज में भीगूं तो डांट के साथ-साथ सरसों का तेल हाजिर। 

फिर जब घर से दूर रहने लगी तो धीरे-धीरे बारिश में भीगना कम होते-होते बंद ही हो गया। यूं नहीं कि बाद में जिंदगी में लोग नहीं थे। लेकिन किसी के दिमाग में कभी नहीं आया कि बारिश में भीगी लड़की के तलवों पर गर्म सरसों का तेल मल दिया जाए। कभी नहीं। 

ऐसी सैकड़ों चीजें, जो माँ हमेशा करती थीं, माँ से दूर होने के बाद किसी ने नहीं की। 

किसी ने कभी बालों में तेल नहीं लगाया। माँ आज भी एक दिन के लिए भी मिले तो बालों में तेल जरूर लगाएं। 

बचपन में खाना मनपसंद न हो तो माँ दस और ऑप्‍शन देती। अच्‍छा घी-गुड़ रोटी खा लो, अच्‍छा आलू की भुजिया बना देती हूं। माँ नखरे सहती थी, इसलिए उनसे लडि़याते भी थे। लेकिन बाद में किसी ने इस तरह लाड़ नहीं दिखाया। मैं भी अपने आप सारी सब्जियां खाने लगीं। 

मेरी जिंदगी में मां सिर्फ एक ही है। दोबारा कभी कोई माँ नहीं आई, हालांकि बड़ी होकर मैं जरूर मां बन गई। लड़कियां हो जाती हैं न माँ अपने आप। 

प्रेमी, पति कब छोटा बच्‍चा हो जाता है, कब उस पर मुहब्‍बत से ज्‍यादा दुलार बरसने लगता है, पता ही नहीं चलता। उनके सिर में तेल भी लग जाता है, ये परवाह भी होने लगती है कि उसका फेवरेट खाना बनाऊं, उसके नखरे भी उठाए जाने लगते हैं। 

लड़कों की जिंदगी में कई माएं आती हैं। बहन भी माँ हो जाती है, पत्‍नी तो होती ही है, बेटियां भी एक उम्र के बाद बूढ़े पिता की माँ ही बन जाती हैं, लेकिन लड़कियों के पास सिर्फ एक ही माँ है। बड़े होने के बाद उसे दोबारा कोई माँ नहीं मिलती। वो लाड़-दुलार, नखरे, दोबारा कभी नहीं आते।

लड़कियों को जिंदगी में सिर्फ एक ही बार मिलती है ........माँ.👵🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😢😢😢
