*🔥Dhaba Wali Aunty🔥*

Jee… that food… will you get it?” Pramod hesitantly asked him.

"Are you new here?... If you don't get food in the dhaba then what else will you get?" His experienced eyes read his reluctance "What to plant?" He asked.

"G..a..just what these people are eating..means dal roti..how much will it cost?" There were one or two other people who were eating there. Seeing Dal, Roti, Vegetable Rice in his plate, Pramod asked him to eat the same.

“There is a plate of 20 rupees…four rotis, dal, sabji and rice…sit comfortably son…I will put it” she said with great affection and went to the kitchen.

"Ohh..ji but there is one thing...I have only...only..nineteen rupees.." Pramod could speak with great embarrassment.

"No one..give it later..now you will come here everyday to eat food," he said to me in a voice steeped in affectionate love while turning and smiling.

"G..G..It's okay" he said while taking a breath of peace, after that he had food and after giving money he came to his room.

Pramod, a promising but very shy son of poor parents, came here to study further in Jhunjhunu. Was living with a cheap room in Kaswan Bhawan near Sector Kisan Colony. Today is his first day. Tehsil Crossroads, by the way this is on Tiraha why it is called Chauraha, no one knows, this is Auntie's Dhaba at this crossroads.

Dhaba Kya In the lower part of a small house built on the roadside, a woman, who is called Aunty by all. This dhaba runs with only two items in the menu. Only middle-class people come to eat food in Dhaba, who are looking for cheap food, so it is a bit difficult to say which one is worse between Dhaba's condition and its earnings.

Next day Pramod goes again, Aunty smiles seeing him in the dhaba, he also smiles a little, maybe a little self-confidence has come since yesterday, he said "Aunty...... put the food..... .. But I have a request to you...... you reduce one roti from the plate.. because I do not have more than nineteen rupees to spend on food".

He thought that he should be told clearly before eating.

Although the budget was twenty rupees, Pramod made this policy thinking that after saving one rupee a day, I would take some gifts for my mother when I go home during the holidays.

"Ok..sit down..I will apply now..." she said and went to the kitchen.

There were tables and chairs lying against the wall on one side and on the other side there was a platform about two and a half feet high from the ground on which the stove, utensils etc. were kept, that was the kitchen.

Aunty's height is very small, due to which the kitchen platform is slightly higher than her and she is facing a lot of difficulty in cooking... After a while she brought the food plate.

"Hey...you brought four rotis in it.. I told you..." I would have said something further that she said "Look son.. I am an old woman alone, I run a dhaba just because..that with you people … Arrangements should be made for two breads for me too… Now for one rupee, will I cut your stomach” saying, she put her hand on his head and went away.

This routine continued like this every day he used to see Aunty working with great difficulty on the high platform, she could not do any work while sitting due to pain in her knees, she used to eat food, give him nineteen rupees, she used to talk like this. Only a few months passed and then today he came to the dhaba very late.

"Hey..you have made a lot of delay today...everything is fine..I will sit and cook food." Come with me to the kitchen..."

He took her by the hand and brought her to the kitchen area and made her stand towards the kitchen platform and then placed a strong wooden post under her feet, bought from the worship shop, she was filled with wonder, standing on it Don't know how many years the dams were opened..

Pramod touched her feet and said "Happy Mother's Day.....Aunty".

Aunt hugged Pramod, and said crying - may God give such a son to everyone!

 *🔥ढाबे वाली आंटी🔥*

जी...वो खाना..मिलेगा क्या" प्रमोद ने सकुचाते हुए उनसे पूछा?

"नए आये हो न?...ढाबे में खाना नहीं मिलेगा तो और क्या मिलेगा" उनकी अनुभवी आँखों ने उसकी  सकुचाहट को पढ़ लिया "क्या लगाऊँ ?" उन्होंने पूछा।

"जी..अ..बस ये लोग जो खा रहे हैं..मतलब दाल रोटी.. कितने की होगी ये ?" एक दो लोग और थे, जो वहाँ खाना खा रहे थे। उनकी थाली में दाल रोटी सब्जी चावल देख के प्रमोद ने वही खाने को उनसे कह दिया।

"20 रुपये की थाली है...चार रोटी दाल सब्जी और चावल..आराम से बैठो बेटा...लगाती हूँ" उन्होंने बड़ी ममता से कहा और रसोई में चली गईं।

"ओह्ह..जी पर एक बात है...मेरे पास सिर्फ...सिर्फ..उन्नीस रूपये हैं.." प्रमोद  बड़ी शर्मिन्दिगी से बोल पाया।

"कोई नहीं..बाद में दे देना..अब खाना खाने तो रोज ही आओगे न यहाँ" उन्होंने जाते जाते मुड़के मुस्कुराते हुए वात्सल्य प्रेम में डूबी आवाज में मुझसे कहा।

"जी..जी..ठीक है" वह चैन की साँस लेते हुए बोला उसके बाद  खाना खाया और पैसे देकर वह अपने  कमरे पे आ गया।

एक गरीब माँ बाप का होनहार मगर बहुत शर्मीला बेटा प्रमोद यहाँ झुंझुनूं में आगे पढ़ने आया था।  सेक्टर किसान कॉलोनी के पास कस्वां भवन में एक सस्ता कमरा लेकर रह रहा था। आज उसका पहला दिन है। तहसील चौराहे ,वैसे ये है तो तिराहा पर इसे चौराहा क्यों कहते हैं, किसीको नहीं पता, इसी चौराहे पर ये आंटी का ढाबा है ।

ढाबा क्या सड़क किनारे  बने एक छोटे से मकान के निचले हिस्से में एक महिला, जिन्हें सब ऑन्टी कहते हैं। मीनू में सिर्फ दो आइटम वाला ये ढाबा चलाती हैं। ढाबे में मजबूर मगर मध्यम लोग ही खाना खाने आते हैं, जो सस्ता खाना ढूँढते हैं, इसलिए ढाबे की हालत और उसकी कमाई में से कौन ज्यादा खस्ताहाल है, ये कहना जरा मुश्किल है।

अगले दिन प्रमोद  फिर जाता है, ढाबे में आंटी उसे  देखकर मुस्कुराती हैं, वह भी हल्का मुस्कुराता है, शायद कल के बाद से थोड़ा सा आत्मविश्वास आया है, उसने कहा  "आंटी...... खाना लगा दीजिये....... पर आपसे एक विनती है......आप थाली से एक रोटी..कम कर दीजिये..क्योंकि मेरे पास उन्नीस रुपये से ज्यादा खाने पे खर्च करने को नहीं हैं"।

उसने  सोचा खाने से पहले ही साफ़ साफ़ बता दिया जाय।

हालाँकि  बजट बीस रुपैये का था पर एक रुपया रोज बचा के जब छुट्टियों में घर जाऊँगा तो अपनी माँ के लिए कुछ उपहार ले जाऊँगा, ये सोच के प्रमोद ने यह नीति बनाई थी।

"ठीक है..बैठ जाओ..अभी लगाती हूँ..." कहकर वो रसोई में चली गईं।

एक तरफ की दीवार से लगीं मेज कुर्सियां पड़ी थीं और दूसरी ओर एक दीवार पे जमीन से करीबन ढाई फुट ऊँचा एक प्लेटफॉर्म बना था, जिसपे चूल्हा बर्तन इत्यादि रखे थे, बस वही रसोई थी ।

आंटी का कद बहुत छोटा है, जिसकी वजह से रसोई का प्लेटफॉर्म उनसे थोड़ी ज्यादा ऊँचाई पे पड़ता है और उन्हें खाना बनाने के काम में काफी कठिनाई आ रही है ...थोड़ी देर बाद वो खाने की थाली ले आईं।

"अरे...आपतो इसमें चार रोटी ले आईं.. मैंने आपसे कहा..." मैं आगे कुछ कहता कि वो बोल पड़ीं " देखो बेटा.. मैं एक बूढ़ी अकेली औरत बस इसलिए ढाबा चलाती हूँ..कि तुम लोगों के साथ... मेरी भी दो रोटी का इंतजाम हो जाए... अब एक रुपये के लिए क्या तेरा पेट काटूँगी" कहकर उसके  सर पे हाथ फेरकर वो चली गईं।

ऐसे ही रोज ये क्रम चलता रहा प्रतिदिन वह ऑन्टी को ऊँचे प्लेटफॉर्म पे बड़ी मुश्किल से काम करते देखता, घुटनो में तकलीफ के कारण बैठ के कोई काम उनसे हो नहीं पाता था, खाना खाता ,उन्नीस रुपये देता कुछ हल्की फुल्की बातें उनसे होती बस ऐसे ही कुछ महीने बीत गए और फिर आज के दिन वह काफी देर से ढाबे पे आया ।

"अरे..आज बड़ी देर कर दी तूने...सब ठीक तो है..बैठ मैं खाना लगाती हूँ" ऑन्टी की आँखों में चिंता थी, प्रमोद ने  कहा "सब ठीक है और हाँ खाना तो खाऊंगा ही..पर पहले आप रसोई में आओ मेरे साथ..."

उनका हाथ पकड़ के वह  रसोई वाले हिस्से में उन्हें ले आया और उन्हें रसोई के प्लेटफॉर्म की ओर खड़ा किया और फिर उनके पैरों के नीचे, पूजापाठ वाली दुकान से खरीदी लकड़ी की एक मजबूत चौकी रखने लगा, तो वो आश्चर्य से भर गईं, उसपे खड़ी हुईं और उनकी आँखों ने न जाने कितने वर्षों के बंधे बाँध खोल दिए..

प्रमोद ने  उनके पैर छुए और कहा "हैप्पी मदर्स डे.....ऑन्टी"

आंटी ने प्रमोद को गले लगा लिया, और रोते हुए बोली- ऐसा बेटा भगवान सभी को दे!

दोस्तो ,हमें भी जहाँ तक सम्भव हो ऐसे लोगों की मदद जरूर करनी चाहिए जिससे समाज मे प्रेरणा मिले और समाज आगे की और अग्रसर हो।
