         सन्यासी बोले, "मैंने तुम्हें काटने के लिए मना किया था, फुंफकारने के लिए नहीं। इतने सज्जन भी मत बन जाओ कि लोड तुम्हरा दुरुपयोग करने लगें।" बात सांप की समझ में आ गयी। उसके बाद से जब भी कोई उसके बिल के पास आता , वह फुंफकार कर उसे भगा देता। उसने काटा किसी को भी नहीं, लेकिन लोग फिर से उससे डरने लगे थे।
