उमंग का उसकी कंपनी में कुछ दिनों पहले ही प्रोमोशन हुआ। करीब 10 लोगों की टीम का वह हेड बना। शुरुवाती दौर में तो सभी साथियों का काम उसे ठीक लगा, लेकिन धीरे-धीरे उसे गलतियां नज़र आने लगीं। वह जब भी कुछ नया उन्हें समझाता, कर्मचारी उस काम को बिगाड़ देते। वह मीटिंग में कुछ समझाता और बाद में रिजल्ट कुछ और आता। वह इस बात से बहुत परेशान हो गया। उसने अपने बॉस को यह समस्या बतायी। वह शिकायती लहजे में बोला, कर्मचारी बिल्कुल भी काम नहीं करते। उनका काम में मन ही नहीं लगता। मैं उन्हें बताता कुछ और हूँ और वे करते कुछ और हैं। दरअसल उन्हें पता ही नहीं है कि काम कैसे किया जाये। कहीं हमने इन कर्मचारियों को कंपनी में रखकर कोई गलती तो नहीं की है? इतने सालों से यह कैसे कंपनी में टिके हुए हैं? बॉस ने उसे कहा, तुम्हारे हेड बनने के पहले भी यही लोग कम करते थे और अब भी यही लोग काम कर रहे हैं। कोई भी कंपनी, किसी भी कर्मचारी को बेवजह काम पर नहीं रखती। उन सभी मे कोई न कोई गुण जरूर है। यहां समस्या उनकी नहीं, बल्कि तुम्हारी है। मुझे लग रहा है कि तुम उन्हें ठीक तरीके से अपनी प्लानिंग समझा नहीं पा रहे हो। इस बात को गांठ बांध लो, जब सामनेवाला आपके मन मुताबिक काम नहीं कर पाता, तो इसमें गलती आपकी होती है। यकीन मानो की तुम्हारे प्लानिंग समझाने में कोई न कोई कमी है, तभी वे गलती कर रहे हैं। बेहतर है कि तुम अपने समझाने का तरीका बदलो। स्टेप बाय स्टेप उन्हें समझाओ। उदाहरण दो। बारीकी से हर चीज बताओ। यह इसलिए भी जरूरी है, क्योंकि हर व्यक्ति की सोचने-समझने की क्षमता अलग-अलग होती है। यह जरूरी नहीं है कि जितनी जल्दी तुम कोई काम सीख लेते हो, सामनेवाला भी सीख जाये। जैसे तुम अपने बॉस की बात बिना कहे समझ जाते हो, सामनेवाला भी उतना ही स्मार्ट हो। बॉस की बात का असर उमंग पर पड़ा। उसने तय किया कि अब मीटिंग तब तक खत्म नहीं किया करेगा, जब तक हर व्यक्ति अपनी जिम्मेवारी ठीक से समझ न ले। इस आदत से उसे फायदा पहुंचा।

💐 हर कर्मचारी की सीखने-समझने की क्षमता अलग होती है। हो सकता है, कुछ कर्मचारी सच में नासमझ हों, लेकिन सभी पर यह लागू नहीं होता।
