New York Times bestseller Stephen C. Lundin, Harry Paul and John Christenson's book Fish is an excellent story on which John Christenson also made the film. This book is the story of how Mary Jane, the supervisor of a company, changed the attitude of people in her department, learning from the Pike Place Fish Market (the people there changed the work environment and made it world famous.). An excerpt from the book is as follows.
At the fish market, Mary meets Loney, an important person there, who tells him how he changed this fish market. He explains that Pike Place Fish Market was also quite dull before. Then we discovered a wonderful thing. Although there is no choice about work, there is always a choice about how you work.
