Have to get something, do something.

Many times we keep cursing ourselves that our luck is not progressing. Actually, we write our own luck. People who talk of luck are often stealing from work. A lottery can come out of luck without hard work, but if you do not work, it does not take long to sink that money. That is to say, there is no alternative to hard work. If you are trying to find another way, then you are unnecessarily wasting your time. Two years ago an office boy named Mahesh worked in our office. Very clever at work and very hardworking. He never minded for anything. Not because he was very direct, but because he had a great desire to learn. He kept on doing something for as long as he was in office. One good thing he would do is that whenever he got time from the rest of the work, he would stand near the computer and see how the work was going on. He had a great desire to run a computer. He was so fond of working at the computer that he would stay till late at night. He did not have any formal computer training, so the software used to work in the office, he learned very well while practicing. A month later he was in a position to support the employees. He used to do many minor tasks on the computer. Yes, he was always ready to learn more and more. In just one year, he was ready as a marketing executive. His post also increased and salary too. This story is not only for listening, but it is a true event. You too must have heard such examples around you, how a person who had nothing, could reach the heights of success only on the strength of his hard work. In fact such people are different and do not have to do much to be different. Trust in yourself and trust in hard work. The rest are dependent on luck. They are scared of defeat, they think it's okay to keep going. I have heard many people say that the more money I get, the more I will work. Think, if Mahesh had thought the same, would he have reached this position. So trust yourself. As a child, small stubborns used to do with their parents, today, one should insist that something is to be obtained. Have to do something.

कुछ पाना है, कुछ कर दिखाना है।

कई बार हम खुद को ही कोसते रहते हैं कि हमारी किस्मत में तरक्की नहीं है। असल में अपनी किस्मत हम खुद लिखते हैं। किस्मत की बात करनेवाले लोग अक्सर काम से जी चुरानेवाले होते हैं। बिना मेहनत के किस्मत से लॉटरी जरूर निकल सकती है, लेकिन मेहनत न करें तो वह पैसा डूबने में भी देर नहीं लगती। कहने का मतलब यह है कि मेहनत का कोई विकल्प नहीं। अगर आप कोई दूसरा रास्ता ढूढ़ने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं, तो आप बेवजह अपना समय बर्बाद कर रहे हैं। हमारे ऑफिस में दो साल पहले महेश नाम का एक ऑफिस बॉय काम करता था। काम में बहुत होशियार और काफी मेहनती। किसी काम के लिए उसने कभी मन नहीं किया। इसलिए नहीं क्योंकि वह बहुत सीधा था, बल्कि इसलिए कि उसमें सीखने की गजब की इच्छा थी। वह ऑफिस में जितनी भी देर रहता कुछ न कुछ करता रहता। एक अच्छा काम वह यह करता कि जब भी उसे बाकी काम से समय मिलता, वह कंप्यूटर के पास खड़ा रहता और देखते कि किस तरह काम हो रहा है। कंप्यूटर चलाने की उसकी बड़ी इच्छा थी। वह सीखना चाहता था। उसने मैनेजर से बात की। मैनेजर उसके काबिलियत से वाकिफ थे। उन्होंने उसे परमिशन दे दिया कि खाली समय में वह कंप्यूटर पर काम कर सकता है। कंप्यूटर पर काम करने का उसका इतना शौक था कि वह देर रात तक भी रुक जाता। उसने कंप्यूटर का कोई विधिवत प्रशिक्षण तो लिया नहीं था, लिहाजा जिस सॉफ्टवेयर पर ऑफिस में काम होता था, वह अभ्यास करते-करते उसे बहुत अच्छी तरह जान गया। एक माह बाद ही वह कर्मचारियों को सहयोग करने की स्थिति में था। कंप्यूटर पर कई छोटे-मोटे काम वह कर देता था। हाँ, ज्यादा से ज्यादा सीखने के लिए वह हमेशा तैयार रहता था। महज़ एक साल में वह मार्केटिंग एग्जेक्युटिव के रूप में तैयार हो चुका था। उसका पोस्ट भी बढ़ गया और सैलरी भी। यह कहानी केवल सुनने के लिए नहीं है, बल्कि यह एक सच्ची घटना है। आपने भी अपने आसपास ऐसे उदाहरण सुने होंगे कि कैसे एक व्यक्ति जिसके पास कुछ नहीं था, सिर्फ अपनी मेहनत के बल पर सफलता की ऊंचाइयों को छू सका। वास्तव में ऐसे लोग अलग होते हैं और उन्हें अलग होने के लिए बहुत कुछ नहीं करना पड़ता है। खुद पर विश्वास और मेहनत पर भरोसा। बाकी लोग किस्मत के भरोसे होते हैं। उन्हें हार से डर लगता है, वे सोचते हैं कि जैसे चल रहा है, ठीक है। मैंने कई लोगों को कहते सुना है कि जितना पैसा मिलता है, उतना ही काम करूंगा। सोचिए, अगर ऐसा ही महेश सोचता, तो क्या वह इस पद तक पहुंच पाता। इसलिए खुद पर भरोसा रखें। बचपन में छोटी-छोटी ज़िद अपने माता-पिता से किया करते थे, आज खुद से एक ज़िद करें कि कुछ पाना है। कुछ कर दिखाना है।
