यार, इस चाय की दुकान तो हमेशा ही भीड़ रहती है। इसका धंधा तो बढ़िया चल रहा है। हम भी चाय की दुकान ही खोल लेते हैं। कहां ये नौकरी-वौकरी के चक्कर में फंसे हैं..... यार मैं तो सोच रहा हूँ कि खुद का ढाबा खोल लूं..... इस तरह की बातें हम अक्सर बोलते हैं, लेकिन इन सारी बातों को कभी साकार करने की हिम्मत नहीं जुटा पाते।

           हम केवल दूसरे बिजनेसमैन को देखकर जलन करते हैं। खुद को कोसते हैं कि ये आठवीं पास व्यक्ति धंधा कर के मुझसे ज्यादा पैसा कमा रहा है और मैं इतना पढ़ा-लिखा होने के बावजूद मर-मर के काम कर रहा हूं और सैलरी भी इतनी कम है।

        इस हद तक क्रोधित होने के बावजूद वे कौन सी चीजें हैं, जो हमें धंधा शुरू करने से रोकती हैं? क्यों हम एक्शन नहीं ले पाते? इस विषय पर मेरी एक मित्र से चर्चा हुई। उसने बताया कि यह डर मेरे अंदर भी है। मुझे डर है कि मेरे पूरे खानदान में किसी ने बिजनेस नहीं किया। इसके बारे में मेरा अनुभव नहीं है। अगर मैं फेल हो गया तो? मैं अपनी जमा-पूंजी इस बिजनेस में लगा दूंगा और नुकसान हो गया तो?

           अब सवाल यह उठता है कि इस डर को कैसे खत्म किया जाए? सबसे पहले इस बात का पता लगाएं कि कौन-सा काम आप सबसे अच्छे से करते हैं और जो आपको 24 घंटे भी करने पड़े तो आप बोर नहीं होंगे। जब आप यह जान लें, तो उसी चीज का बिजनेस शुरू करें। अब आप उसी चीज के बिजनेस करनेवाले लोगों से जुड़ें। उनसे मिलने-जुलने का सिलसिला बनाये रखें। उनसे उनके अनुभव पूछें। इस क्षेत्र से संबंधित किताबें पढें।

           इसके बावजूद भी आपको डर लग रहा हो, तो बेहतर है कि आप जो बिजनेस करना चाहते हैं, उसी बिजनेस को करनेवाली किसी कंपनी या किसी व्यक्ति से जुड़ जाएं। उसके साथ रहकर काम सीखें। छोटी-छोटी जिम्मेवारियां लेना भी शुरू कर दें। एक-दो साल में जब आपको यकीन हो जाए कि ये काम तो मैं भी अकेला कर सकता हूँ, तब आप अपना बिजनेस शुरू करें।
