कहीं से कुछ सुनें, तो उसे अपने अंदर ही सीमित रखें

किसी की चुगली करना, शिकायत करना या इधर की बात उधर करना, कॉरपोरेट वर्ल्ड में किसी अपराध से कम नहीं। क्योंकि ऐसा करनेवाला एक तो सामनेवाले का समय खराब करता है, उसे डायवर्ट करने की कोशिश करता है और अन्ततः संस्थान के प्रोडक्ट को नुकसान पहुंचाता है। आप खुद के संस्थान में ही देख लें। आपको अपने आसपास ही ऐसे लोग मिल जाएंगे, जिनका काम ही है कि वे प्रतिदिन बॉस के पास बैठकर पूरे ऑफिस की गॉसिप को मसाला लगाकर पेश करते हैं। असल में ऐसे लोगों को खुद के काम पर भरोसा नहीं होता, इसलिए वे सुरक्षित बने रहने के लिए चुगली और गॉसिप के जरिये बॉस के करीब आना चाहते हैं।

            एक खिलौनेवाला तीन बहुत ही सुंदर और आकर्षक गुड़िया बनाकर राजा के पास बेचने के लिए गया। तीनों गुड़िया देखने में एक ही जैसी थी, कोई अंतर मालूम नहीं चलता था, पर उनके डैम अलग-अलग थे। एक का 100 रुपया, दूसरे का 400 और तीसरे का 1500 रुपये। राजा सोच में पड़ गया कि आखिर तीनों गुड़िया देखने में एक ही जैसी है, तो फिर दाम अलग-अलग क्यों? राजा ने उस खिलौनेवाले से कहा की तुम अभी इन सभी को छोड़कर जाओ, पैसे तुम्हें कल मिलेंगे। वह जब चला गया तो राजा ने मंत्रियों से चर्चा की, लेकिन कोई इसका सही जवाब नहीं दे सका। मंत्रियों में एक मंत्री बहुत ही समझदार था। उसने राजा से उन गुड़ियों को अपने घर ले जाने की इजाजत मांगी, और कहा की कल वो इस रहस्य को सभी के सामने सुलझा देगा। रातभर वह उन गुड़ियों को जांचते और परखते रहे और आखिरकार रहस्य का पता लगा ही लिया। सुबह मंत्री राजा के पास पहुंचा और उसने राजा को बताया कि उसने वो रहस्य खोज लिया है। राजा के पूछने पर उसने बताया कि "पहलीवाली गुड़िया(100 रुपये वाली) के एक कान में अगर सींक डालो, तो वह सीधे दुसरे कान से निकल जाती थी। दुसरिवली (400 रुपये वाली) के कान में जब कोई सींक डालो, तो वह कान से न निकलकर मुख से निकल जाती थी और जब तिसरीवाली (1500 रुपये वाली) के कान में कोई सींक साली जाये, तो वह न मुख से निकलती थी और न ही कान से, बल्कि वह पेट में जाकर अटक जाती थी।" 

             मंत्री ने राजा से कहा, जो मनुष्य सहनशील एवं गंभीर होते हैं, वे मूल्यवान होते हैं। जो एक कान से सुने और मुख से तुरंत प्रचारित करने लगे, वह उससे कम दरजे का, लेकिन जो किसी भी बात को एक ककन से सुनकर हमेशा दूसरे कान से निकाल देता है, वह निकृष्ट होता है। राजा को सारी बात समझ में आ गयी थी। कोई भी बात सुनकर अपने भीतर तक ही सीमित रखना समझदारी है। किसी भी बात को हँसी में उड़ा देनेवाले लोग या चुगली करनेवाले लोगों की कद्र नहीं होती।

When you put a cinch in the ear of Dusrivali (Rs. 400), that ear She would not go out of her mouth and when a tinkle in the ear of Tisriwali (Rs. 1500) goes out of her mouth, she would not come out of her mouth nor from her ear, but she got stuck in her stomach. "

             The minister told the king, humans who are tolerant and serious are valuable. One who listens with one ear and starts preaching from the mouth immediately, is of a lower rate, but one who always listens to anything from one ear and removes it from the other ear is inferior. The king understood everything. It is prudent to confine yourself within listening to anything. People who laugh at anything or those who chew do not appreciate.
